I have the approval from DOL which my company sent with me, and also the Receipt of I140 which they got after my I140 was filed.
I was just curious, where it can be found, under which category my GC is being processed.
As you said the DOL web site, can you tell me what the url will be, and where to look at.

If look at you at Pappu's announcement, it is certian that core team knows what fix is going to be. And he let members to guess and speculate.
This GC became more like lottery. I sent my documents to lawyer on Jun 25th and he did not file on 2nd and now he is asking me whether to file or not. If my lawyer and employer are that cooperative, I do not need to waste my time on this forum.

I agree with you that it is a random process but the processing date that is shown indicates that all the cases prior to that date have been "served". So, TSC-Oct 14 means, cases received on Oct 14 and later are currently being served. Hope this helps.

Imagine in your mind, all through the weekend that your approval will come on Monday. Your priority date is current. You exhausted all options. You are very close. Maybe the IO has picked ur file & gone on vacation...maybe he will come back this weekend & just send an approval on monday. You have paid ur dues...u r very close....just relax. On renewing EAD & AP....just go ahead renew them...that will send another trigger for approval.
But the bottomline is - just imagine that u have already gotten ur approval.
Forget browsing immigration forums...forget logging into USCIS...forget about 'GETTING' the GC....just imagine that u 'ALREADY GOT IT'.
It makes a huge difference. trust me.

I was the first to show my site, then paddy, then dark and then fern so i really dont see any influence may it be progressive or negative...Hmmm.... I thought paddy was first. Regaurdless that's just my opinion... I mean techincally you were all influenced by the sony site :P. But end dates on things like these types of compitetions are important, what you do is you give a specified time to have them linked up. Give somethin like a 6ish hr gap to have them up or post the link... then close it if they aren't up.

Guys, i don't know how USCIS works, i don't care at this point in time. Just wanted to share with this group, that i did not get a 2nd FP notice. My FP was done on 9/28/07. And as Fromnaija said earlier in this thread, a 2nd FP may not be required if FPs were stored in Biometric Storage System - well, i got my "card production ordered" e-mail today. Hope to have the green card in hand by the end of the month. So again, not having a 2nd FP notice may not be an issue.

One never knows on how CIR will encompass the legality of the undocumented.
My assumption is that it will give them a path that will include fines and of course a duration like 5 years or something. This will mean that in the longer term they will qualify for the healthcare if they adhere to the norms.
These are just my assumptions. If there is a concern to bring undocumented folks into legality then why not give them health benefits if they are willing to get converted into legal way. This may not be a Day 1 scenario of healthcare. But from my viewpoint they still tie in indirect terms (CIR and healthcare vs undocumented folks).

I did read some other posts re: this, but I'm not too sure how to go about it, what to say to them, etc? Should it be in writing, by phone? Plus the state of CA is so overwhelmed with budget issues, do you think they'd want to devote time to it? :confused:

For EB3 India 7% of 85,030 = 5903. And still Dates are stuck in 2001. I don't know what it take to move it to beyond 2002-2003 ?
I'm afraid if there are 100K EB3 in 2001-2004. Why doesn't USCIS come up with such statistics..

hello all,
i attended for visa stamping on dec 1st at Hyderabad consulate so i got 221g yellow form but he retained passport with him. he told to submit all the documents that are mentioned on the yellow form. did any body got same thing. usually how many days they will take for processing after submiting the documents

Are you generating the receipt numbers yourself ? :D
just using the code to predict the case numbers.
check it your self. just put any number on the "XX" part and go to uscis.
another interesting thing i found out, they are approving a lot of ead from those filed on june 30, 2007 but then again they may not be Emplyment based application.

Based on information I gathered,we need to have original 485 filing receipt to be able to use EAD for extending drivers licence. One question I would like to explore is has any one had success requesting a 485 receipt from USCIS?.I researched on the topic and called USCIS also and the answer I found is that USCIS will not reissue 485 receipt notice.I would like to see if any IVians have a different experience.

I agree with you....You should be able to file the G28 form to get someone else to be yr representative 2 or 4
..
My understanding is that you need to send a Cancel G-28 notice (as a simple letter, or using a G-28 form) to USCIS. Your current attorney does not have to do anything. You hired your attorney, so you can drop him/her anytime and advise USCIS.

I already received the RFE , This is what it says :
"On the supplement form to I-693, Adjustment of status applicant's documentation of Immunization you provided, the civil surgeon indicated that you have not obtained the required vaccination. As such, you are ineligible for adjustment of status until you present documentation showing you have received all required vaccination. all records are to be confirmed with documentation. The applicant cannot assert immunization without documentation and the physician subsequently document the lack of documentation requesting a waiver of immunization requirements. some immunization can be waived with just cause. A lack of documentation does not meet waiver requirement"
In I693 supplement form Doctor put Check on "Fully immune" column for Td, MMR and Varicella and also put the dates on when I received the vaccinations.
is there any other vaccination that is required ?
My wife also get the similar RFE , a little different language though
