I have no US visa stamped in my passport and planning to fly Emirates to India via Dubai. I will use AP for re-entry. Do I need transit visa at Dubai like London and other European Airports? Response from anyone with experience will be appreciated. If already discussed here, guidance to particular forum will help.
I have traveled by Emirates several times (last year was the recent one) and they did NOT require a transit visa.

As you will have a valid H4, you can try using H4 at the port of entry but it doesn't matter even if you use AP. If the Officer at the PoE objects or raise questions pertaining to your work status then you might want to use AP. Your status will not affect your spouse (or entire family) Green Card process.
Your status depends on your spouse's status. If your spouse is on H1B; you can always convert your status to H4 even if you use AP at the port of entry.

U r absolutely right........ i have heard ppl saying they are willing to transfer H-1B's but they say they wont process GC............. This is just un believable.......... I guess the whole idea is to recycle ppl after every 6 years..........

Is there any way that we can get the USCIS to update their Aug 2007 bulletin and write on top of it and the July bulletin was valid till Aug 17th.
That way any officer who would check the Aug 2007 bulletin would first see the update and go by the July bulletin instead of rejecting I-485's in a bunch which cause additional hardships to the applicant in getting it reopened via MTR and again going through the long process.

Its true that you have to have valid passport (which is not expiring withing 6 monts) at the time of visa stamping.
Get a new passport before you leave for India. You can apply for a new passport in India Consulates in USA. Google it and you will find out more.

It looks like you are getting glare from glass or something. Get as close to the glass as you can and the lens as perpendicular as possible. A dark cloth and duct tape to put it up with would get you two things: (1) ability to block glare from lights behind you and (2) hide you from the birds so they settle down.
I've actually put the camera on a tripod and draped a large towel over it and my head/torso for camoflage, which let me stand outdoors and get closer without scaring them away. But I don't do that much because it's really tiring standing there, motionless :)
For the most part, a flash doesn't seem to bother birds much and it's a great help - you get better contrast and a faster shutter.

If the position you are being sponsored is 50% or more different than the position under which you have gained your experience, then experience gained in the same company can be counted. Your attorney somehow has to show that the postion you have now is more than 50% different (duties etc) than the new one. This is a tricky one and you would need a GOOOOOOD attorney to do that.
