You will be using XNA Game Studio (installs into Visual Studio), to develop games. All your time other than for graphics will be spent in Visual Studio 2010. Highly recommend you have a device. Testing in the emulator is not the greatest for games.
Note: All you need is the freely available tools (Express Editions). Having the student or paid versions does not really benefit those using the XNA Game Studio, or building applications for WP7. I'm sure that page says that, just didn't want you to get confused.
If you have done any other game programming you will find everything pretty easy, just takes a bit to get use to. It sounds like you are new to C#, but don't worry most tutorials are setup in a way this shouldn't be a problem.

yea i got some work too, actually built a nice relationship with a cool company. i've also found that some people offering jobs are either full of you know what or they don't pay very well.

Since AC21 does not go in any official USCIS form, it is better to attach with G-28. My attorney did that and USCIS had acknowledged their receipt of the G-28 and supporting documents. The Ack was a letter to me and the attorney when my (new) attorney opened a service request inquiring the attorney of record after 4 weeks of filing G-28 and AC21 documents.

Looks like the pundits are saying that the House, and possily Senate, will fall into Democrat hands beginning January.
Here is what Robert Novak says:
The conventional wisdom about the 2006 elections among both Republicans and Democrats now is that the Democrats will take control of the House and could also win the Senate. One House Republican committee chairman, who publicly exudes optimism, privately predicts -- and has predicted for six months -- a loss of 30 House seats.

If that's a wisdom, no wonder Democrats are in no mood to compromise on CIR. That also explains the chilly reception to Hutshison-Pence. When the democrats have the house they'll craft a new immigraton package and compromise with the perhaps even more democrat-leaning senate. So 2007 is going to be the year of CIR. If the republicans are smart, they're going to try to get best immigration deal possible in the lameduck session before the 110th Congress starts in January. But the democrats may block it altogether. In that case the retrictionists are going to be sorry they didn't take the best deal when it was available (which look like now).

Did ur parents mention in their DS-156 as self-financing or did they mention ur name ?
My parents applied for visa ..
documents submitted
1) Bank deposit in US around 9000 $
2) deposit in india about 10000$
3) Job No objection certificate ( parents )
4) affidavit's of support
5) They carried all property documents in india ( valuated by CPA )
6) my H1b1 copy and a letter of invitation from me

Quick survey to findout how many people like the idea of having their passports restamped here in USA and avoid all the surprises and shocks. This doesn't need any legal fixes. It is a convenient measure for everyone. Besides it was an old practice that was stopped for "security" reasons or some crapp. It is a small step but helps with any cases like family emergency or some urgent business need to travel abroad.

I have heard about many COS applications getting approved, so you have a good chance.
The only thing I would recommend is make sure your H4 is valid for a relatively long time going forward. This will ensure that even if F1 COS does not get approved you atleast are in status throughou the process.
This is because sometimes the processs can take a long time eg. My spouse's COS from H4-F1 never got approved (name check etc etc took 2+ years), so we withdrew after the completion of the degree. Meanwhile the H4 had expired, creating complications.

If your employer fully support you on your entry into USA after long stay in India, you are good.
You may need to show documents, letter from employer, and also he will be ready to answer phone upon entry. (they may ask him whether a job is available for you).
You can enter before your visa expiry.

I applied for the visa lottery while my EB3 I-485 was pending and while waiting for the priority date to be current. I won the lottery and got my green card and the two are COMPLETELY UNRELATED. Good luck with the visa lottery, for me, it saved my sanity!

1) You need to call US Consulate/Embassy in London, UK for application pack(this will take approx 1 week) and appointment date. The availability of appointment date would be a big question mark.
2) After receiving application pack in post you need to get money order from bank for the application fees.
Note: US consulate in UK prefer candidate to apply from the home country. My case was diverted to Mumbai when I hv applied from London. I got my H1B visa from Mumbai.

If you have recevied at least AP notice, you can use that for 1 month or so till you get another card..

My 6th year on H1 ends Dec 2007. My PERM LC is pending and the lawyer is confident I won't run into problems. My question is after 6 years on H1 can I switch to H4 since my husband is on H1? Or if 6 years max given for an H visa?
